Behind the Design – Our Process for Creating Lingerie for Real Bodies

We frequently hear that other brands take a smaller size and make a bigger one. Other brands scale up their designs, but at Perfect4U, we have a different approach, we design with you in mind!

What Plus-Size Bodies Mean to Us

We don't look at a piece and think about how it will look on a body that is generally unrealistic and uncomfortable. Plus-size women come in all shapes and sizes, and we take that into consideration. We want plus-size women to feel secure in the lingerie that we design and feel confident wearing them.

Women everywhere deserve beautiful lingerie that maintains its shape with wear and that lasts with time. We want our designs to continue feeling beautiful for women as they continue wearing them.

Double-Layer Construction

Double-layer construction is an important part of how we solve many design problems at once. Our semi-transparent materials come together to create a sense of being covered while remaining elegant and mysterious.

Double layers also create the perfect amount of support when needed. The double layers go over the bust, and the area near the cleavage and hips, while single layers are strategically placed to minimise bulk. This combination construction and design isn’t easy to achieve, but it is important to us that you feel and look confident while being able to easily move in the garment.

The Amor chemise is our number one selling item and the perfect example of the combination of support and sexiness. The midi length and double layered mesh allow for modesty and comfort while elegantly hugging the curves. 

When you focus on creating a product for the end user, in this case real women, you create a beautiful garment, but more importantly, you create a moment filled with confidence.
